Our freezer range includes upright freestanding stainless steel and BlackSteel, fully integrated underbench and single door vertical freezers for sale. Available freezer space for frozen food depends on the appliance. Whilst some models offer ample storage space as a stand alone freezer, selected models also include BioFresh (0°C) for extra fresh food storage. There is also one unique freezer in the range which includes a dual zone wine cellar. All in the range have the option of creating a side by side whether freestanding or integrated to create the perfect fridge freezer.
Do I need to manually defrost the freezer?
All but one freezer in the range (the underbench freezer) includes Liebherr’s NoFrost. Liebherr’s NoFrost freestanding stainless steel and BlackSteel, along with fully integrated vertical freezers offer professional quality refrigeration. The food is surrounded by a stream of ice cold air and quickly freezes, preserving vitamins and flavour in the frozen food. Excess humidity is taken out of the freezer compartment so that the appliance never frosts over. Defrosting is no longer necessary.
Freezers with NoFrost also include FrostSafe. The freezer drawer compartments are closed all round which means that cold air cannot dissipate as quickly when the door is opened, maintaining the air temperature and ensuring high levels of efficiency. The transparent front of the compartments provides a clear view of the frozen items, so that drawers do not need to be opened as long.
How does VarioSpace offer extra storage space in the freezer?
Transparent drawers are not only attractively designed but are extremely practical in the freezers range. They give a clear view of the contents, offering convenient storage for frozen food as they are extra deep, and sealed all around. In all the upright freestanding and vertical integrated freezer, the drawers can be removed leaving glass shelves for extra tall storage space, this is called VarioSpace. Shelves in the freezer are made of safety glass and are removable, VarioSpace is the practical system for extra storage.
How does SuperFrost benefit existing and new frozen food?
Every freezer for sale in the Liebherr range includes the unique SuperFrost function. The automatic SuperFrost function reduces the temperature in your freezer space to as low as -32°C, depending on the model, switching back to normal operation once it has reached minimum temperature. By activating prior to grocery shopping, it will reduce the likelihood that existing frozen food will suffer from excessive temperature rise while the door is left open for loading or temperature transfer from added warmer items.
