An innovative hot-gas defrost cycle in the LKPv, LGPv and LGv models allows the units to defrost less often and faster. Refrigerators defrost in only 8 minutes while freezers in 12 minutes. Before defrosting, the internal temperature is slightly lowered so the temperature remains fairly constant during the cycle.
