Appliance Types

Freestanding

Freestanding Liebherr refrigerator, freezers and wine cellars are as the name suggests – freestanding.  They do not require to be built-in to a cavity (unlike fully integrated or built-in appliances, which do).

If freestanding appliances are being placed into a cavity space however, they do require either a ventilation cut-out in the cabinetry above the appliance (minimum 300cm2) or a minimum clearance of 50mm above the unit if there is not ventilation cut-out.  An anti-tilt bracket is required for installation of selected appliances (eg: CBNes 6256).

Appliances should always be installed according to the installation instructions.
